Jereon, you always manage to put to paper and pen exactly what I seem to be feeling at different points, and this one drilled closer to home more than I would like to admit. Thank you, for making me realize, that there are those who feel the pain at a much deeper level other than myself.
I just stumbled onto this blog when I was searching for a picture of something (anything!) to portray my feeling of “moving on”… turns out that it was a comic from a few years ago that it showed me, but it was absolutely perfect. I’ve started reading a few more of these, and I can’t believe how accurate a reflection of my own life so many of them are! This one in particular… I’m definitely bookmarking this.
