Ours is a mixed marriage, and her parents don’t speak English, and my Vietnamese is pretty darn rudimentary. Fourth panel is pretty much the sum total of our conversation when there’s no-one around to translate for us.
We have a great relationship going on! When everyone’s been busy or off doing other stuff we can spend a couple of hours with just Beer? OK! as one or the other runs out.
