i’m so glad you decided to continue happysad. if you didn’t, i never would’ve been able to see this one. and i think it’s in my top five now.
I come here, and find all of these new cartoons since I was last here a few weeks back… and it makes me happy that you continue on. I saw the posting about your sad day… and I have to tell you that your cartoons are comforting. In the way that I feel less alone with the shit going on in my life…
I have always enjoyed your cartoons, and now, really have no idea how I came upon them, but I am so glad that I did. My (boy)friend died this last June, and although it isn’t exactly like what this cartoon probbably means to you… it hits home in another way to me. We had just moved out of the ‘friend zone’… it had always been a long distance friend and subsequent relationship, but we were moving towards being in the same place. So… yeah.
I guess I just wanted to say thank you for still being around. Even if it is for a rare look into where you’re at, it’s something I do look forward to. Hopefully that makes sense.
