OK, so my demands haven’t been met yet. Surprise surprise.
But as a sign of good will, I will start releasing some hostag… uhm, new cartoons in a few days. I’ve managed to scrape some inspiration from the bottom of the well, and starting Wednesday, I’ll start publishing again, if that’s okay with you.
BTW, one of my friends suggested I’d only publish on week days, and not in the weekend. Good idea or not?

I, personally, would love to see you publishing a comic on following days:
Monday (To start the week with), Wednesday (To see you again :)), Friday-Saturday-Sunday (Finally weekend, and something to smile at)
So 2 days off: Thursday and Tuesday.

It’s not like you’ve signed a contract to publish strips – just draw when you feel like drawing, and publish the things you like. You can’t imagine how boring a comic strip may become when the cartoonist is following deadlines.
@Johan: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday is split more evenly. And a Sunday edition, just to relax would be nice:).
You should do whatever works best. (: Just seeing HappySad around is enough for me!
Seriously, do whatever you like, Jeroen~ It’s not like you owe us anything! Heck, you could just put one out on sundays and we’d still come away cheery(Foxtrot manages that fine!). And anyone who says otherwise needs to remember there’s a person, not just an artist. >.>

I think you should post whenever the mood hits but most strips still maintain readership with ~3x per week from my web trawling.
But decide soonish?? I miss reading about you.
i’m pretty sure once a week would suck. MWF seems reasonable. all the greats do it. (the great being Carl Huber over at theWarehouse. you’re in fine company.) but honestly, even writing when inspiration hits seems a-ok too. but blog every once in a while.
If 5/7 will prevent new periods of no activity at all, surely we your hardcore fans will support it!

Take however much time off as you need, as long as you don’t completely disappear. We would miss you =p

If you’ve pulled off 7/7 then you know it’s possible. 5/7 will reduce your “momentum”, though that may be why you want to do it?
As soon as it becomes a chore, rather than a passion, you should slow down / break (as you are doing at the moment). Don’t feel obliged to keep drawing for the fans.

Well, man, one should publish whenever one feels like it – it’s hard for me to say it, since I need a dose of HappySad, but that’s the truth. So weekends off it’s fine by me. Also (some) days off.

Jeroen, publish whenever you want. probably all of us have rss so we will see when you publish something. Go for the quality not for the quantity as they say. 3-4 days a week will be also fine. Don’t think that you must do it (however you know that you make our days better everytime

Just follow your feeling. No rules like 5 days a week or things like that. Don’t let it become an obligation and the fun will come back. We don’t have the right to expect anything from you
You’re the artist. We’re the fans. Do what you like. If you want weekends off, take ‘em off! We have no right to make demands of you.
I thoroughly enjoy your comics and will still read them whether you post them every day, once a week or once a month. Glad to hear that you’ve managed to dredge up some inspiration and look forward to seeing what it produces.
